What We Do

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. Through UWEC SHRM you will have the opportunity to get help with Resumes, Cover Letters, LinkedIn, Job search strategies and more through our professional development workshops.

 

SOCIALS. Throughout the semester as a group we have socials to get to know each other outside of school and to have some fun. Some things we have done: Fergusons Orchard, bowling, paint night and end of semester dinner. 

 

SPEAKERS. Every semester we have speakers from different companies in the community come speak to the group. They give us an opportunity to learn about different areas in HR and what to expect post graduation.

 

CONFERENCES. As if this isn't enough we also participate in conferences including the HR Games in the spring and TCSHRM. 

 

MENTORSHIP PROGRAM. In partnership with CVSHRM we take part in a mentorship program. Members can be matched up with a mentor in the community. Through this program you have the opportunity to learn more about HR.
